School Uniform / Gwisg Ysgol

The wearing of school uniform is actively encouraged. It fosters a sense of belonging to our school community. The school has a high level of co-operation from its parents in supporting the wearing of school uniform. We are proud of our uniform and many visitors remark on how smart our children are.

The Blackwood Primary School uniform is:

School uniform:

• Royal blue sweatshirt, jumper or cardigan (school badge optional).
• Yellow polo shirt (school badge optional).
• Shirt or blouse in pale blue (no logos or stripes).
• School tie.
• Grey trousers, tailored shorts, skirt or pinafore dress.
• Blue or yellow gingham dress.
• Black, white or grey socks or tights.
• Black footwear.

PE kit:

• Blue, grey or black shorts, jogging bottoms, leggings or skort.
• Blue or yellow round neck t-shirt (school badge optional).
• Blue hoodie (school badge optional).
• black plimsolls or trainers.

Forest School/outdoor learning:

• Wellington boots

Please note that children will undertake outdoor learning in inclement weather. Please provide a suitable coat for these occasions.

Please note that school provide waterproof clothing when learning outdoors in wet weather.
