The wearing of school uniform is actively encouraged. It fosters a sense of belonging to our school community. The school has a high level of co-operation from its parents in supporting the wearing of school uniform. We are proud of our uniform and many visitors remark on how smart our children are.
The Blackwood Primary School uniform is:
A royal blue sweatshirt, jumper or cardigan with the school logo on it where possible
A yellow polo shirt
Grey trousers or skirts
Plain black shoes or trainers must be worn, with no heels or platforms
Blue gingham or striped dresses during the warmer summer months. Shorts may be worn in the summer.
Nursery and reception children may wear royal blue jogging bottoms and sweat shirts as part of their uniform.
Please note hoodies (including school hoodies) are not a part of our daily school uniform but may be worn to sporting events or after school clubs.
It is important that all uniform should be clearly marked with your child's name to avoid confusion. The school does not take responsibility for items that are lost.
