At Blackwood Primary School we take E-safety very seriously!

Our digital leader meet regularly to ensure. We explore an age-appropriate e-safety curriculum that is flexible, relevant and engages pupils’ interest; that is used to promote e-safety through teaching pupils how to stay safe, how to protect themselves from harm and how to take responsibility for their own and others’ safety.  Positive rewards are used to cultivate positive and responsible use.  Peer mentoring programmes.”

We encourage you to have regular conversations with your child about their online activity. Having these conversations will help you to spot any problems and encourage your child to come to you if they are worried about anything and make sure they are aware of what is safe to share online.

At the bottom of this page there are a number of links to websites that has age appropriate resources you can use at home.
